Rubber sheeting has many different applications. Some of its most common applications include gaskets, O-rings, electrical insulation, food processing and weatherstripping. Rubber sheets offer good resistance to petroleum products, oil, flame, acids and alkalis. They are used in industrial applications as corrosion resistant coatings, padding in external metal cases to protect the contents, noise isolation in power transformer installations and other electrical applications.
Most rubbers are highly durable, resisting damage and degradation from abrasive and tearing forces, impact, low temperatures, and water. They also exhibit a relatively slow heat buildup rate.
We supply natural insertion rubber sheets and rubber strips with one- or two-ply cotton reinforcement, depending on the thickness (between 1.5mm and 9.5mm). Sheeting is sold by the metre with continuous lengths up to 10 metres available.
